REQUIREMENTS TO REQUEST HELP TO FAMILIES
Those who meet three basic requirements may benefit from family aid. The first of them is to be registered and have domicile in any council of the Principality of Asturias. In addition, the birth or adoption of the child must have occurred between January 1 and September 30, 2025.
Finally, the administration will review the income. In this case, the sum of the annual tax revenues of parents or adopters may not exceed 45,000 euros.
Help amount
The economic amount changes depending on the number of children but also the place of residence of the family. Thus, 1,200 euros will be paid for the first child born or adopted, 1,700 euros for the second or the successive and 2,200 euros for families that have domicile in the councils that are at risk of depopulation, regardless of the order of birth or adoption.
On the application period, they can already be requested because the foundations in the Official Gazette of the Principality of Asturias have already been published (Bopa). The family has two months from the date of birth or adoption to present the documents. For those born or adopted between January 1, 2025 and the date of publication of this official document, the deadline is 2 months from the day of the publication.
To ask for it, you will have to access the electronic headquarters of the Principality of Asturias. And once the documentation has been delivered, the administration has a period of 6 months to resolve the application and the decision will be notified for its publication in the bopa. In the event that there is no response, it is estimated to be denied by administrative silence.
