Families with minor children between zero and three years old who are enrolled in Early Childhood Education (EI) centers in the Region of Murcia will be able to access aid of up to 1,200 euros per child to cover part of the costs of care, dining room, uniforms and school supplies.
The aid is designed for households that have not been able to access the educational scholarships ordinary classes because the center their children go to was not authorized by the Department of Education.

The measure is already published in an order collected by the Ministry of Social Policy, Families and Equality affecting minors enrolled in Child Care Centers (CAI) and Child Care Points (PAI), in the Region of Murcia.

Up to a maximum of 1,200 euros per minor
The aid may reach a maximum of 1,200 euros per minor, although it may never exceed the money that the family has paid to the children’s center. This subsidy covers expenses related to the custody and care of the minor, dining room and food, uniforms and individual material necessary for the center’s activities.
Once the aid is approved, payment will be made by deposit to the applicant’s bank account.
Requirements to collect aid
Families with children from 0 to 3 years old who are enrolled in non-free CAI or PAI in the Region of Murcia may apply for this aid. One of the main requirements is not having been able to access the scholarships called by the Ministry of Education because it did not have educational authorization at the time of the call although it was registered as a child care center by the Ministry of Social Policy.
Family income may not exceed the economic limit established in each annual call. This income will be calculated by adding the total tax base and the savings, then deducting withholdings and payments on account and taking into account the income of all eligible members of the family unit.
If requests exceed the available budget, priority will be given to victims of terrorism or gender violence, households with lower per capita income, large families and those who are younger.
How to request aid for families in the Region of Murcia
Applications must be submitted through the procedure enabled in the electronic headquarters of the Autonomous Community of Murcia or in any of the registries permitted by law.
The specific call will establish the deadlines for submission and the necessary documentation, although the rule states that families will have to provide proof of payment from the center, certificates of attendance and financial documentation of the family unit.
The Administration may also verify part of the economic and family data ex officio to speed up the processing.
