The average price of electricity in Spain for this Wednesday, November 5, 2025, is €27.75/MWh in the wholesale market. With this, it is already the second decrease so far this week and knowing that this Tuesday the average price of electricity was 49.44 euros, we can say that the bill drops another 43.89%, about 21.69 euros, according to the data published by the Iberian Energy Market Operator (OMIE)

This new price affects consumers covered by the regulated rate or with an indexed contract in the free market. It does not include taxes or tolls, since the final amount is published by Red Eléctrica at the close of business.

When is electricity cheaper this Wednesday, November 5?

The lowest price of electricity will be recorded from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., when it will cost 3.72 euros/MWh. Furthermore, the most economical hours of the day will be concentrated between 10:00 and 15:00, with an average price of 6.92 euros/MWh, which makes this period the most recommended to concentrate electricity consumption and save on the bill.

When is electricity most expensive?

The most expensive time of the day will be between 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., with a cost of 70.50 euros/MWh. It is also recommended to avoid the periods between 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., where prices remain high, with an average of 60.54 euros/MWh.
