The average price of electricity in Spain for this Thursday, November 6, 2025, shoots up and rises to €40.25/MWh in the wholesale market, according to data published by the Iberian Energy Market Operator (OMIE). This means that electricity will be paid 45.05% more expensive than this Wednesday, in which the price was 27.75 euros.
It must be taken into account that this amount is marked for the wholesale market, and does not include concepts such as taxes or tolls. Consumers with a regulated or indexed rate in the free market will have to wait until the end of the afternoon when the Voluntary Price for Small Consumers (PVPC) is published by Red Eléctrica.
When is electricity cheaper this Thursday, November 6?
The cheapest hour of electricity will be from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., at which time it drops to 0.65 euros, although several more sections can be used below 1 euro.
When is electricity most expensive?
The maximum peak of electricity, on the contrary, will be between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at a price of 119.58 euros. Being, along with the hour before and after, the only ones of the day that exceed 100 euros.
