Receiving a letter from the Treasury is a fear for many Spaniards and, in general, when the Tax Agency contacts a taxpayer it is not usually to give good news. And it is not something that leaves out the famous, many are known for their problems with the Treasurylike the actor Fernando Tejero, who was required to pay more than 150,871 euros for unpaid taxes.

For this reason, Tejero himself explained in an interview on the Antena 3 program El Hormiguero that one of his greatest fears is receiving a letter from the Treasury.

“I promise you that I receive a notification from the Treasury at home and my legs shake until I go to pick it up at the Post Office,” the actor confessed to Pablo Motos, host of the program.

Fernando Tejero’s biggest fear, currently, is the Treasury

“My biggest fear now is the Treasury,” Tejero said honestly in response to one of the interview questions above other situations such as loneliness, something that, for the actor, is not a problem.

But this has not been the only intervention by the best-known goalkeeper on television, for his role in ‘No one lives here’, on another occasion he told Susanna Griso: “I am completely convinced that they were going to blow me up more than they have blown me up.”

This confession made reference to that problem with the Tax Agency at the time when Cristóbal Montoro was minister, of whom he does not have very good memories, nor of the rest of the ministry’s holders. “I shit on all the Finance Ministers there have been,” he declared in another program.

How much money does Fernando Tejero have?

Regarding Fernando Tejero’s assets, the actor has always been discreet, and even when he visited David Broncano in La Resistencia he did not give details about it, he only confessed that he has “two different accounts” without indicating figures.

What he did clarify in a Movistar+ program is that he continues to earn money from the reruns of ‘No one lives here’, although as happened in Broncano’s program, he did not clarify how many benefits he currently obtains for his role as Emilio.
