Good news for Madrid athletes. The Community of Madrid has opened the deadline to request new aid for those athletes who have participated in official sports competitions during 2025, both nationally and internationally. These subsidies have a total endowment of 1.5 million euros and aim to recognize effort and sporting results, in addition to helping promising young sports players achieve their goals due to the enormous economic and logistical effort that is sometimes involved in continuing to compete, due to multiple trips, sports equipment or obstacles in the training and work environment.

The application must be made electronically through the electronic headquarters for aid, scholarships and subsidies of the Community of Madrid, where the procedure is already available. The period will remain open until April 13, 2026, as indicated on the official platform itself.

One more aid from the autonomous communities aimed especially at young people, like the one that the Generalitat of Catalonia is also active in supporting young people studying competitive exams.
