Upon reaching a certain age, many employees hope to receive the retirement pension that have accumulated after years of work. Some, on the other hand, prefer to continue working to further increase the amount. This is the case of Dominique, a nursing assistant who decided to take his retirement 2 more yearswhose effort was in vain.
As he reported in an interview with the French media ICI (which can be found in this article), the 64 -year -old health worked at a public hospital in Dordoña and worked two more years to increase his pension, but The quotes of that period were not registered. This translates into a difference from 300 euros per month lessnecessary to cover their basic expenses. “I don’t sleep anymore, rummy above all this, I don’t see any exit, there is no solution,” he confessed.
The pension is not enough to live
Dominique He started his career as nursing assistant 15 years agoafter having their three children and previously work the commercial sector. When he reached the legal age of retirement of public officials, which in France is at 62, he realized that The pension he had left was not enough: “I saw the forecast they offered me, but it was too low.” He then decided to continue working to increase his pension and be able to retire more peacefully.
However, his plan was frustrated when he discovered that the additional two years of contributions were not accounted for by the Caisse Nationale de Retraites Des agents des Collectivités Local (CNRACL), the body responsible for managing his pension.
The reason: a document that was late
The CNRACL states that He never received the activity extension documentnecessary to count its quotes, that the employer should have sent. The hospital tried to correct the error and, although he sent the documentation, the CNRACL did not accept it: “They tell me that the law is the law and that the document was not sent on time,” explains Dominique.
The future pensioner does not blame anyone, but demands that the situation be rectified: “making an error is human, instead, I think an error can be repaired. For me, that is what I want, compensation for this error, of the Caisse or the hospital, but I have to respect my rights, that is all. ”
The employee wants to submit a resource before the CNRACL and denounces the inefficiency and rigidity of the administration, because He feels “victim of bureaucracy”. Dominique regrets: “There is a kind of silence around these administrative problems. The administration covers the eyes and apply the directives, and we are defenseless, apart.”
Despite continuing to work and knowing that their current contributions are not correctly counted, the health hopes that its case will serve as alert to prevent others from suffering similar situations. Now the hospital is reviewing its file and the case is about to solve, although it will retire, whatever happens, next June.
