Joyería Plaza (@joyeria.plaza) has published a curious video on tiktok which has more than 35,000 likes. In it you can see how a woman comes to appraise the gold ring that her ex-partner gave her. “I don’t want it anymore,” he repeats several times. And yes, it is real gold and the expert offers her a good sum of money for it, but there is one detail that outrages the client: “even in this she has deceived me.”

This is none other than the precious stone that adorned the ring, because when they gave it to her, they told her it was a diamond. But the expert, after looking at it with a magnifying glass, is very clear. “I’m going to give you bad news… it’s not brilliant.” He then picks up a gem and stone tester and explains how it works.
