The average price of electricity for this Saturday, March 28, 2026, plummets to 89.32 euros/MWh for consumers whose rate is regulated or indexed in the free market. According to data published by Red Eléctrica, electricity is 32.46% cheaper than this Friday when its price was 132.24 euros. Therefore, today on average 42.92 euros less are paid compared to the previous day.

This amount corresponds to the Voluntary Price for Small Consumers (PVPC), whose values ​​are generally higher than those published by the Iberian Energy Market Operator (OMIE) in the wholesale market, since additional concepts such as taxes and tolls are incorporated into the invoice.

The cheapest hour will be from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a price of 81.76 euros/MWh. On this day, electricity consumption will not drop below 80 euros.

When is electricity most expensive this Saturday?

The most expensive amount will be paid with an amount of 98.43 euros per megawatt hour, from 05:00 to 06:00 in the morning. It will be from midnight until 7:00 a.m. when the hours are most expensive.
