The average price of electricity for this Wednesday, October 29, 2025, drops to 171.40 euros/MWh for consumers with a regulated or indexed rate in the free market, as can be seen from the data published by Red Eléctrica. After the decrease, electricity is paid 1.58% cheaper than this Tuesday, in which the price was 168.74 euros.
It must be taken into account that this amount is what is known as the Voluntary Price for Small Consumers (PVPC), and is different from the one marked on the wholesale market and published by the Iberian Energy Market Operator (OMIE). This PVPC is usually higher, since it includes items such as taxes and tolls.

The cheapest hour of electricity takes place between 03:00 and 04:00 at a price of 104.34 euros. The rest of the sections at more affordable prices are also found during the early morning hours.
When is electricity most expensive this Wednesday?
