The light price of Friday, October 3, 2025 will be 93.25 euros per megavatio hour (MWh). In this way, the weekend begins with a new rise of 8.19%, if we compare it with the day on Thursday, where the price was set at 86.19 euros/MWh, as shown by the data of the Iberian energy market operator (OMIE).
If we look at the data a year ago, the light had a price of 108.44 euros/MWh, so it is now 15.19 euros cheaper. This price is that of the wholesale market and does not include taxes or tolls and charges of the electrical system. When is light cheaper this Friday?
The cheapest time of light will take place between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., when it will cost 38.23 euros/MWh. Electricity will be more expensive at night between 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., when it will be paid at 138.76 euros/MWh. We will also have to pay attention to other sections of the day, such as 9:00 p.m. to 22:00 that will cost 134.48 euros/MWh and between 08:00 and 09:00 hours that will be paid to 132.44 euros/MWh, in addition to the strip from 22:00 to 23:00 hours in which it will have a price of 120.81 euros/MWh.
