In Beltrán’s sausages there is a surprising fact, although the price of € 1, turkey, sausage or ham trays are really sold at € 0.75. Something similar happens with tuna: “Put four cans for € 3, but in reality it is € 2.60,” says Tamara in the video.

Cash Beltrán also bets on XXL formats that are not found in Mercadona: mayonnaise of 10 kilos, giant detergents such as the light of 110 washed at € 7.50 or family frozen. In her tour, the creator also highlighted Kinder ice cream at € 3.95 and chicken products battered below € 2.

Cash Beltrán, a 100% local supermarket

The author’s own author wanted to underline the local character of the chain: “Did you know that Beltrán is a 100% Malaga supermarket and one of the cheapest, not to tell you the cheapest in Malaga?” Currently, it has five establishments in the province, one of them in Guadalhorce, where the images were recorded.

The publication has become viral and reflects what many consumers seek: alternatives to reduce spending of the weekly purchase. And although Mercadona maintains hegemony in the sector, cases such as this show that local supermarkets can stand up with much smaller prices in key products.
