A young man has put the debate on retirement pensions on the table. This Tiktok content creator (@alexforfun5) has made hundreds of users comment one of their latest videos. In it, he explains that “retirees are the richest in Spain,” responding to the criticisms he has received after having published another video in which he assured the same. “People went crazy putting me in the comments that retirees are not rich.”
It shows some of the answers they gave to their post, in which they pointed out that “most retirees charge a minimum pension” or that “call pensioners rich who charge between 600 and 700 euros per month … Do you want them to live under a bridge?” But Alex, who adds 988 comments, has not changed his mind. “The net worth of a person above 65 is 200,000 euros”, an affirmation that, he says, is supported by the INE data (National Statistics Institute).
