The average price of light for this Friday, August 8, 2025, will be 74.09 euros per megavatio hour (MWH) within the wholesale market, according to data published by the Iberian energy market operator (OMIE). It is a small 11.86% decrease in comparison With the amount recorded this Thursdayand that translates into paying 9.97 euros less.
In annual terms, the decrease in electricity is 26.8%, since August 8, 2024 The ‘pool’ stood at 101.19 euros/MWh. Thus, one could say that compared to last year, electricity has dropped twice.
