Madrid companies that need to hire workers and want to train them in advance to adapt them to their needs will be able to save a good part of the costs of this entire process thanks to the subsidy that the Madrid government has active for these cases. Thus, the Community of Madrid maintains open aid of up to 300,000 euros per year per applicant to finance training actions with a commitment to hire unemployed people. An aid that is added to others that the Madrid regional government also has for hiring, such as the aid program for hiring young people under 30 years of age.
This is currently shown in the electronic headquarters of the Community of Madrid, where the procedure appears open until November 30, 2026, so anyone interested should hurry up to make their request. The Administration explains that these subsidies serve to finance training with the commitment to hire “at least 40 percent of the unemployed workers who complete the training with a satisfactory result.”
Although the program includes two modalities, at this time only Line 1, intended for companies, remains available. The headquarters itself warns that “the deadline for submitting requests for Line 2 is closed, after exhausting the budget credit.” This second modality was aimed at training entities.
Aid of up to 300,000 euros to train before hiring
The goal is for companies to prepare future workers for the positions they really need to fill. The regulatory order explains that these subsidies are intended to “make it easier for the unemployed to obtain a job and for employers to hire workers with training appropriate to their needs.”
The maximum amount reaches 300,000 euros per year per applicant. To currently access Line 1, companies with work centers located in Madrid can apply, as well as groups of natural or legal persons, communities of property and other economic units or separate assets.
One of the fundamental requirements is precisely to assume the hiring commitment. The company must own at least one work center in the Community of Madrid and commit to hiring those who complete the training, directly or through agreements with other companies.
In addition, the documentation must include a “responsible declaration of the Hiring Commitment”, which assumes the incorporation of at least 40% of the students who have passed the training action.
What is needed to request these aids
In addition to the application itself, a report must be submitted explaining the training needs, the positions to be filled, the selection process and the profiles of the people who will subsequently be hired.
It will also be necessary to comply with the general subsidy regulations, declare any other aid received for the same purpose and not have been sanctioned with the exclusion of access to subsidies for serious or very serious infractions in the field of Vocational Training for Employment.
It will be a direct concession, that is, without the need to compete with some applications against others. This is established by the headquarters of the Madrid community, where it clearly states that they may be granted “without competition between the applicants and without the need to jointly evaluate and resolve the applications presented.”
