The Film Festival returns this Monday, October 19, 2026 with a new edition in which viewers will be able to enjoy the films on display for only 3.50 euros per ticket. The promotion will last four days, until Thursday, October 22, and will feature the participation of more than 330 cinemas throughout Spain.
This is the 27th edition of this initiative, which seeks to encourage the public to go to movie theaters by offering cheaper prices than usual. Tickets have been on sale since last Wednesday, October 14, and can be purchased both at the cinema box office and on their websites and on the usual sales platforms.
Of course, it is important to keep in mind that some rooms and special formats may apply supplements, so the final price may exceed the announced 3.50 euros. In addition, some cinemas take advantage of these days to offer discounts in their bars, with promotions on popcorn, drinks and different menus at cheaper prices than usual.
When does the 2026 Film Festival start and how to buy tickets
The Film Festival will be held on October 19, 20, 21 and 22, from Monday to Thursday. During these four days, viewers will be able to choose between the films that are showing in the cinemas participating in the promotion.
To get tickets for 3.5 euros, it is not necessary to register or request any accreditation, as was the case in previous editions. Those interested can go directly to the cinema box office or buy them online, where they will find discounted tickets.
However, there are some conditions that must be taken into account. 3D projections, special rooms and VIP seats may carry an additional cost. Management fees may also be applied to online purchases or at the sales terminals of the cinemas themselves.
Likewise, the promotion cannot be combined with other offers or discounts and only applies to establishments that participate in the campaign. To find out which cinemas are participating and to know the conditions of the offer, you can consult the official website of the Film Festival.
What films can be seen during the Film Festival
During these four days you can see the films that each participating cinema has on the billboard for 3.50 euros, such as ‘The Black Ball’, ‘The Other Mother’, ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’, ‘The Loved One’, ‘The Suitcase’, ‘Street Fighter’ and ‘Clayface’, among others. The offer will depend on the programming of each theater, so not all films will be available in all establishments.

For this edition, the Film Festival will have ambassadors such as the director Alauda Ruiz de Azúa, winner of the Goya 2026 for best direction for ‘Los Domingos’, and the actor Álvaro Cervantes, recognized with the Goya for best supporting actor for ‘Sorda’. Both will put a face to this initiative, promoted by the Federation of Cinematographic Distributors (FEDICINE), the Federation of Cinemas of Spain (FECE) and the Ministry of Culture, through the Institute of Cinematography and Audiovisual Arts (ICAA), which seeks to encourage the public to return to movie theaters.
