Pet videos continue to conquer social networks, but some not only go viral but even remain engraved in the hearts of more than one person. And if we’re already talking about golden retrievers, turn it off and let’s go. This breed of dog is famous not only for its intelligence, but also for being one of the most affectionate and expressive animals in the animal world. This is the case of Sunday, a golden retriever who has gone viral on TikTok thanks to a scene as curious as it is touching: imitating the sound of a cow while wearing a cow mask or costume on his head. If the owner’s intention when she recorded it was to make everyone fall in love with her dog, yes, she has achieved it.
The video, published on the TikTok account @sundaythegoldenretriever (which its owner dedicates to only spreading videos of her golden retriever), has already accumulated more than 200,000 likes and hundreds of comments. In the images, you can see the dog wearing a kind of hat with horns, simulating the head of a cow. His owner asks him in English “How does the cow say?” (How does the cow do it?), and Sunday responds with a howl that clearly resembles a “mooo”.
Sergio, Ukrainian bricklayer in Spain: “I arrived with 100 euros in my pocket and now I carry up to 8 works at a time”

A retiree has been parking for free at the door of his house for 20 years and now the city council asks him to pay because it is “public land”
An imitation that TikTok has fallen in love with
Far from stopping there, the scene continues when her owner asks her again: “Sunday, say moo.” The dog responds again, this time raising its head upwards while making an even more perfect sound, as if it were really a cow. Not anything else, but Sunday does it so naturally that it touches anyone.
The owner, surprised and proud, ends up congratulating him with a “Good job!”, while Sunday maintains that calm attitude that so characterizes this breed. The combination between the costume, the dog’s reaction and the interaction has resulted in a moment that is as simple as it is effective.

The comments have not been long in coming. Alex Shirley noticed a specific detail: “His snotty little nose,” in reference to the shine on his nose when he raises his muzzle to “moo.” Another user joked: “Right now, I’m not sure if it’s a golden retriever or a fluffy cow.”
There are even those who have gone further, such as Mudafaka’s comment: “You have a cow in your house, ma’am.” A phrase that perfectly summarizes what many have thought when seeing the scene.
These types of videos demonstrate, once again, the ability of animals to surprise us and make us smile. Sunday has not only starred in a viral moment, but has also confirmed why golden retrievers continue to be one of the most beloved breeds in the world.
