The price of tobacco changes again this Saturday, May 9, in the tobacco shops of the Peninsula and the Balearic Islands. The Ministry of Finance has published in the Official State Gazette (BOE) the new cost of various tasks in the Tobacco and Stamp Outlets of the peninsular and Balearic areas, an update that this time leaves blond cigarettes aside and focuses on cigars, cigarillos and stings.
It is the Resolution of May 8, 2026, of the Presidency of the Commissioner for the Tobacco Market, which modifies the prices in relation to the previous list. In total, the update affects a dozen brands and more than forty different references, effective from the day of its publication in the BOE.

They analyze 45 tobacco farms in Extremadura and only 9% reach an advanced level of digitalization
The new price comes into effect this Saturday, May 9, but it does not mean that they must always go up or that it affects all brands on the market. In fact, these changes only occur in some brands, which may raise or lower the price, while the rest maintain the previous rate. In this resolution there are ten brands with updated prices, these being Chazz, Clubmaster, Davidoff, La Aurora, Montosa, Panter, Signature, Bravo, Al Fakher and Colts.
Some well-known brands, such as Davidoff (in its Escurio Robusto), Al Fakher (in its pipe bite range) or Panter (in its fine cigarillos), are among the protagonists. The most expensive product on the new list is precisely the Davidoff Escurio Robusto, with 16.20 euros per unit, while on the opposite side are the Panter Pocket Filter cigarettes, which cost 22 cents per piece. What are the most expensive brands
In the new list published in the BOE, the highest product in the cigars and cigarillos section is the Davidoff Escurio Robusto, in a 12-unit format, which reaches 16.20 euros per piece. It is followed by the references of the La Aurora Family Creed Fuerte Sol family, with its Gran Toro at 10 euros, the Toro at 9.50 euros and the Robusto at 8 euros per unit.
In pipe tobacco, the most expensive reference is the Bravo Pipe in its 999 gram format, practically a kilo of tobacco, which costs 75 euros per container. The Bravo Fine Cut rolling pin (250 g) remains at 45.90 euros, and the six 200 gram formats of Al Fakher share the same price of 17.50 euros.
At the opposite extreme are the cheapest references on the list, all within the fine cigarette segment. The Panter Pocket Filter, in its three finishes (Green, Swirl Bronze and Swirl Red), are the cheapest at 22 cents per unit. They are followed by the Clubmaster Red and Red Filter cigarettes, at 26 cents, and the Finos Filter ranges from Signature and Mini from Panter, at around 25 and 28 cents per piece. The most affordable pipe bite is the Al Fakher Brisa Roja in a small 50 gram format, which sells for 4.70 euros.
