Erling Haaland silenced the doubters on Saturday as he found the net twice on his Manchester City Premier League debut against West Ham.
But it seems the 22-year-old couldn’t quite silence his swearing in his post-match interview, Haaland hilariously accidentally letting out a couple of expletives after his side’s win.
Haaland got his life in the Premier League off to a flying start, netting a penalty and later slotting past West Ham’s substitute keeper Alphonse Areola to lead his side to a 2-0 opening game win.
And it seems the youngster was still on cloud nine as he came to give his post-match interview to discuss his start to life playing in England, as he forgot that he couldn’t swear on live TV.
When asked if he’d have liked to have scored a hat-trick, Haaland said: “Yeah I could’ve. If you saw, I could’ve right before I went off, I should’ve been there, so.
“Bit s***, but that’s how it is.”
After a few seconds of silence, the Norwegian was clearly blissfully unaware he’d just sworn.
And he was visibly taken aback by interviewer Geoff Shreeves asking him not to swear, he did it again.

“Oh sorry, s***.” he said, before putting his hand to his mouth and apologising again.
“Oh sorry! Not good language in this country!” the former Bundesliga star laughed.
A memorable day all in all for City’s new striker!
